A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.

The resource identifies access routes maintained by Glenn County Sheriff's Office, Glenn Superior Court, the California Department of Justice, and the California Megan's Law Website. The California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7931.000, governs access to many agency records, while Penal Code section 11105 restricts dissemination of state repository criminal history. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or an outside criminal history. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that company's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court systems, California agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted advertisements.

Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed to:
